In the first century, Paul told Timothy, “Preach the Word!” The importance of this command is as real today as it was then. I have talked to many youth leaders over the past few years that have a big idea and a big heart but only a small percentage of it is based on the word. The programs and all are good but where do we step from a well thought out and executed program to true progress in the kingdom of God. I know that programs work, but I believe it is time we as youth leaders get back to the meat of the word. Yes we must tackle the problems that our teens are facing today one by one, but I believe if we will teach them the theology of Christ he will work in them and through them. Our teens need the ANSWER not just any answer.
